Before completing the Facebook business verification process, WhatsApp approves your number for restricted messaging. BotPe’s pricing structure comprises two key elements:
Subscription Charges:
- Monthly/annual recurring fees based on your selected plan.
- Automatically charged by BotPe at the start of each billing cycle.
WhatsApp Conversation Charges:
- Triggered by your Business or Customers/Users and deducted from your Prepaid Wallet.
- For Business-initiated One-time Campaigns, the wallet is debited upon campaign activation, with refunds for canceled campaigns or undelivered messages.
- User-initiated (1-1 messages or Ongoing Campaigns) charges are deducted in real-time. Maintain a sufficient wallet balance for uninterrupted communication.
Important Note: Ensure a minimum Prepaid Wallet balance of INR 1000 or more for seamless Business-User interactions. To summarize, BotPe’s total monthly billing includes Subscription Charges (plan-based) deducted from your payment method and WhatsApp Conversation Charges deducted from your Prepaid Wallet.
Yes!, you can utilize an existing WhatsApp number with BotPe. However, it’s necessary to delete the associated account before onboarding with BotPe.
In case the number is currently associated with another Business API, you can still migrate it to BotPe by disabling the 2 Factor Authorization (2FA) pin from your current service provider. Alternatively, you can provide a new phone number to receive an OTP, which may be a virtual or regular SIM number.
Once successfully migrated to WhatsApp Business API and linked with BotPe, the number can only be accessed through the BotPe platform. If it’s a virtual number linked to BotPe, standard voice calls can be made, but WhatsApp voice and video calls are not supported via WhatsApp Business API.
Subscription charges and WhatsApp conversation charges with BotPe are non-refundable.
Opting for a subscription plan implies your acknowledgment of enabling e-mandate on your card. You will be automatically debited for subscription charges and WhatsApp conversation charges accrued until the last day of your subscription.
BotPe does not offer refunds in cases of non-usage or cessation without canceling your subscription. Charges will continue to be applied to your card until the subscription is officially canceled.
Businesses granted Official Business Account (OBA) status on WhatsApp receive a green tick next to their name, visible even if users haven’t saved the WhatsApp business number.
As BotPe is built on the official WhatsApp Business platform, we can apply for the WhatsApp green tick on your behalf for free upon moving to a paid subscription with BotPe.
However, BotPe cannot influence WhatsApp’s decision on green tick verification, as it is solely at their discretion. Various factors, such as brand credibility, social media following, external media listing, and domain ranking, may influence the approval process.
To request green tick verification, connect with our support team. Approval typically takes about 3 business days. Once approved, your number will display as your business name with the green tick, indicating verification.
If your green tick application is rejected, it does not impact your ability to use BotPe or WhatsApp Business API.
